Thank you for contacting us, sdemarcus.

Let me provide some insights about the Organize all job-related activity in one place function.

Once you uncheck this box, you're turning off the Project feature in QuickBooks. However, those job names will remain on the list.

You can hide them whenever you want. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Sales menu.
  2. Select the Customers tab.
  3. Click the gear icon, then uncheck Include projects

On the other hand, the system prompts when there are duplicate names that already exist. You can merge them since they're imported from Harvest. Check out this page for instructions and detailed steps: Add and manage customers in QuickBooks Online.

I also suggest contacting Harvest and check if there's a setting that won't import job names. This is to prevent duplicates sub-clients in QuickBooks.
