Our funding company charges a weekly fee per invoice. How do i record the fee on the invoice?

Greetings, @blippert.

 

You'll want to add a line item for the invoice fee. Let me guide you how.

 

Before doing so, let's create a Product/Service for the invoice fee. In your QuickBooks Online (QBO):

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Products and Services.
  3. Click New.
  4. Choose Service.
  5. Enter Invoice fee as the name of service.
  6. Then click Save and close.

Once done, let's add the invoice fee to your invoice:

  1. Go to the Plus (+) icon.
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. Enter the details of the invoice.
  4. Add a line item for the invoice fee. 1.PNG
  5. Once done, click Save and send.
