Can I email vouchers and receipts with gmail instead of Outlook?

In QuickBooks Desktop Point of Sale, you can only email receipts and vouchers using Microsoft Outlook. 


To email a receipt from a customer order, here's what you'll need to do:

  1. Create a Customer Order.
  2. Select Save & Email when done.
  3. Allow access if you see a prompt to allow Point of Sale permission to access your email.
  4. Enter the customer's email address.
  5. Choose Save and Send.
  6. From there, Point of Sale will open your Microsoft Outlook account and attach the receipt so you can review and edit the email addresssubject line, and message.
  7. Once verified, click Send.

I know how the feature to send the vouchers and receipts via Gmail would help your business. In the meantime, you can email it via Outlook for now.
