I have qb for MAC and am trying to print a report to show the memos I have noted when i enter my credit card charges.  (ex: a credit card charge that I want to remember for a specific use, so I put a "memo" in).  Any way to do this?  Need step by step instructions please~

print a report with "memo" for my credit card charges

Hi there, @cvt15.

Welcome to the Community. Let me help you print a report with the memo column in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

You can run a transaction report and manually add an extra column for Memo. You can start by choosing a report, then customizing the display to show the information you need.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Reports tab at the top menu bar.
  2. Choose the report you want.
  3. In the Report window, click the Options tab located on the right side of the report.
  4. Select the checkbox “Show All” to display all column choices.
  5. On the Columns list, select the column(s) you want to display, like the Memo option.
  6. Click the File tab at the top menu bar.
  7. Select Print Report.
  8. Choose QuickBooks from the print options pop-up menu (If you don’t see QuickBooks in the pop-up menu, it’s because the report you’re printing doesn’t have any special QuickBooks print options). You may have to click Show Details first.
  9. Click Print.

In case you're unable to achieve it by following the steps above, please let me know. You can add more details about the Mac version you currently have, and I'll be sure to provide accurate information.

For additional reference, you can use the following article to configure reports in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.

Drop me a reply if I can help you with anything else. Hope you have a good one.
