I'll make sure that you'll view this option, chip-parish.

It could be that the company file has been damaged that's why we're unable to start a project/job from an estimate or invoice. We can perform Verify Data to scan your company file for errors or data damage. Then, conduct a Rebuild Data to resolve the data integrity issues that the Verify Data finds.

You can follow these simple steps in using the Verify Data feature:

  1. Choose Window then Close All.
  2. Select File from the top menu bar, then choose Utilities.
  3. Select Verify Data.

If you see some errors after doing this process like "Your data has lost integrity." This means that there's a data damage in your file. To fix it, we'll have to rebuild your data. I'll guide you how:

  1. Select File from the top menu bar, then choose Utilities.
  2. Select Rebuild Data.

After that, we will receive a warning message to backup your company file, we'll just have to click OK. QuickBooks will prompt us this message to ensure that we have a secured copy of our company file before any changes are made to it. Then, we'll have to select where you want to save your backup. When you're ready, just select OK at the bottom of the QuickBooks Desktop Backup window.

The Rebuild Data utility starts as soon as the backup is finished. When you get the message "Rebuild has completed", just click OK to end the process.

Let me know how it goes in the comment section, as I want to ensure that you can get back to work at the end of the day. Stay safe and healthy.
