Projects/Time activity

When entering the Cost rate(/hr) @ in the time activity report, does that cost get recorded to the general ledger as well or is it only for reporting purposes?

The Cost rate(/hr) is only for reporting purposes. It'll only affect or post on the General Ledger after creating a payroll or bill. To learn more about time tracking and available reports about it, you can refer to the links below:
