You can cancel your subscription directly through the settings of your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. I can guide you on how to do it.
- Log in to your QBSE account.
- Go to the Gear icon.
- Choose Billing Info.
- From the Cancel section, click Cancel now.
- Enter the reason for your cancellation.
- Click Cancel subscription, then click Cancel subscription again.

If you're still getting the same error, I highly suggest contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed Support Team. They can pull up your account in a secure environment and cancel the account for you.
