QBO support: I am an advanced subscriber and I am looking for a way to add new columns to my invoice activity table. Can someone help or suggest another way to add data?

We are only able to customize certain fields in your invoice template, adding a new column is currently unavailable. You can read through this article to learn more: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

With this, you can consider utilizing one of our integrated apps from the app center so you can fully customize your invoice template:

Go to Apps.
Enter Customize Sales Transaction Template in the Search field.
Open the app overview.
Click Get app now.

What kind of business do you run? You may need to create the invoice on a specific app and integrate it with your QBO account.

Fait Lux,

I am not looking for anything industry specific. I am looking to add more columns for item descriptions to my invoices. Right now I am having to put five different item descriptions in the single "item description" column and space them out with spaces in-between them. I would like to have these split into five different columns so that the headings and line items line up better for a more professional look.

We have yet to find any plug-in app to modify the invoice template on QBO. We may find an app with the invoicing feature and you will create the invoice on that app (e.g the invoicing feature on PayPal).
