QuickBooks Desktop:Inactive Vendors

It's my pleasure to assist you today, KrysR! Thanks for getting in touch with us. I'll give you details about this functionality.

We've always wanted you to use QuickBooks Desktop conveniently for any task you want to perform. Currently, the option to show inactive vendors in the AP Aging Detail report is unavailable. I recommend submitting a feature request to our software engineers, so they'll consider adding this to our future product advancements. Here's how:

  1. Select the Help option, then click the Send Feedback Online option.
  2. Hit Select the Product Suggestion option. A pop-up window appears.
  3. Type in your feedback suggestion.
  4. Tap the Send Feedback button.

Before running the AP Aging Detail report, you might want to activate those inactive vendors as a workaround, then customize to filter them out to track them in your report. You can also run the Vendor Phone List or Vendor Contact List reports and customize it to display all your inactive vendors if you need one.

Furthermore, you can use this helpful reference in handling reports moving forward: Create, access, and modify memorized reports.

Please keep me posted if you have questions or need assistance with QuickBooks-related concerns. I'll be here to help you anytime, KrysR. Don't hesitate to click the Reply button below or post in the Community forum again. Keep safe!
