Hello!

Please - is there an option in QB Enterprise for running reports in foreign currencies by different locations?

Client has 5 companies in 5 different countries. He use QBO right now. All companies are recorded in one QBO file and they are categorized by different locations. QBO reports are in home currency. Can Enterprise generates reports in foreign currencies, by each country-location? Thanks!

Hey there, @dasha31.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community for support. I'm happy to provide some insight into running reports in QuickBooks Enterprise, including foreign currencies.

The best part of Enterprise is the wide variety of reports it has to offer. Although it doesn't offer a whole lot of reports just for foreign currencies, you can customize many of them to include it. I've included the steps below to customize the reports to show foreign currency.

Here's how (using a Transaction Detail report):

  1. From the Reports menu, choose Custom Reports, then click Transaction Detail
  2. In the upper-left corner, hit Customize Report
  3. In the Display tab's lower-left corner, enter currency and place a check-mark next to it.
  4. Go to the Filter tab and enter currency again. By clicking on the drop-down menu, you can choose all currencies or whichever currency you wish to view.

Your report will look like this once you've made your changes:

Additionally, you can go to the Report Center and search for foreign currency.

Check out Customize reports for more details about customizing reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

That's all there is to it. Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns. I'll be here every step of the way. You can reach out to the Community at any time. Take care!

We are running QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions: Contractor 22.0  We had been running payroll in QB and having QB process the payroll. We started with a PEO to do payroll, the PEO can generate any information from there payroll system in CSV file. We are trying to get the employee detail via CSV of the payroll processed by the PEO into QB. DO you any insight?

It's great to see you in the Community, @outofthebox. I'd be happy to help you export your employee's details as a .csv file from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

You can get the Employees' details in the Employee Center. I'd be happy to show you how to do that:

  1. Open the QBDT program and select the company you want to get data.
  2. Go to the Employees menu.
  3. Select the Employee Center tab and click the Excel drop-down icon.
  4. Choose the Export Employee List option.
  5. Select Create a comma separated values (.csv) file.
  6. Click the Export button.

I've also added some screenshots for your reference:

Moreover, you can pull up a report that contains other payroll details. For more information, you can check out this article: Customize payroll and employee reports.

Let me know if you have other concerns about reports, feel free to go back to this thread. Take care!
