QuickBooks online edit bank statement info- save button still not working- when will it be fixed?

Hi there, carolynalee.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm here to ensure that you'll be able to

There haven't been any similar cases reported to us. To better isolate this matter you can try to edit the bank statement info using another browser.

  • To open a New incognito window in Chrome, press Ctrl+Shift+N.
  • To open a Private Browsing window for Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+P.

If the issue persists after trying another browser, I'd suggest giving our Customer Care Team a call, so they can check this matter for you and open investigation for this issue. You can refer to this link for the contact information: https://community.intuit.com/articles/1145770.

This will guide you in saving your bank statement information in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to reach back out to me if you have further question. I'm always here to help. Have a great day.

I am having the same issue.  Save button in online bank statement reconciliation will not work unless am in incognito mode.  Any fix for this?  Just started happening

Hello there, Angelitap.

Thanks for visiting this thread and for updating us about how the switching to incognito mode works for you. I’m here to provide additional troubleshooting to ensure you’ll be able to save your bank statement reconciliation.

Since you’re able to save it in the incognito mode browser, it’s possible that your default browser is filled with data and temporary files from previously visited websites. Please note that these files can take up space and affect the system's performance.

To permanently fix this, you need to go back to your default browser and clear its cache. Here are steps to guide you through:

  1. On your computer, open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More.
  3. Go to More tools and then Clear browsing data.
  4. Choose a time range, like Last hour or All time.
  5. Select the types of information you want to remove.
  6. Click Clear data.

If you want to do the process on other browsers, check out this article:

How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

That should do it! You should now be able to save your bank statement reconciliation.

Let me know how the clearing the cache works for you. I’ll be here anytime!
