Quickbooks will not print an invoice suddenly. I get an error message "typecheck". All my other applications print fine?

Thank you for dropping by here on the Community page, @ocpcdockmaster.

I've reviewed our records and haven't found ongoing investigations about printing invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). That being said, QBO users should be able to print invoices seamlessly.

To get started, open QuickBooks using a private window and try printing an invoice from there. Sometimes, the regular browser tends to hold onto information, and over time it could cause problems while working with QuickBooks.

To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

If that works fine from there, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. Also, using other supported browsers can help us narrow the cause of this behavior.

For additional reference about printing invoices, read these articles:

Also, read our QBO articles in case you need help and related links in the future.

Post again if there anything you need assistance with. I'm always here happy to help. Happy weekend!

I posted this problem on the Dell Printer website as well as there were several other people that suddenly had this issue. After doing research on it I decided to uninstall my printer and reinstall it. That WORKED!

I have no idea why everything on other Apps printed fine but just the Intuit APP was messed up. Anyways it fixed the issue!
