A bill was entered and paid and now I need to attach an item receipt to the bill. Please help

Let me help you attach your item receipt to your bill, @Pullman.

 

The QuickBooks Attachments feature makes your life a little bit easier, especially as the paperless-office trend continues to grow. Let's follow these steps below to attach a document to your bill.

 

  1. Go to the Vendors menu and select Vendor Center.
  2. Click Transactions and select Bills.
  3. Locate and click the Bill transaction.
  4. Select Attach File.
  5. If already have the file saved on your computer, then select Computer. 
  6. Click Open and check the box to select the file.
  7. Select Done, then Save and close.
  8. If you don't, then you can click Scanner to scan the receipt and attach it to your bill.
