I tried the suggestion of going to help but cannot log in to my account.
The message is "The file you specified cannot be opened. Make sure that it is not being used by another program or a "read only" file."
The windows error was "this file exists."
I cannot open or closed anything or toggle to help or anything else.

It's my priority for you to be able to log in to your QuickBooks file successfully.
Are you trying to open a QuickBooks Desktop company file? If so, this error is caused when the file that you want to access is not found in the system. It can also occur if it is used by any other user.
Here are a couple of ways to resolve this error:
Step 1: Close the program and restart your computer. Then, right-click the QuickBooks Desktop icon and select Run as the Administrator.
Step 2: Make sure to download the latest product updates to ensure you have the most recent update of QuickBooks.
