Can a contractor receive DD to a Bluebird account by American Express?

After doing some research about the American Express Bluebird account, I'm happy to tell you that your contractor can receive direct deposits using it. Bluebird is identical to an AMEX account, so you can pay them through DD just like they're using a normal card. If you need more information, you can check out the Bluebird website.

Hey Thanks.....any suggestion on setting up account.  When I attempt to set up the contractors account number and routing number, I get an error message telling me to check the account information.

You'll want to check with Bluebird first if they allow Intuit ACH transfer.

Once confirmed, follow the steps below to enter the bank account information:

1. Click Workers on the left pane.
2. Select Contractors.
3. Select the contractor's name.
4. Click Add Bank.
5. Enter the contractor's bank account information, then click Save.

As my peer @MaryLurleenM stated above, it's best to confirm with Bluebird if they allow Intuit ACH transfer.
