Can anyone help with how to show transactions for expenses without duplication if paying 1st with cc then paying cc statement 2nd. with basic subscription/no bank

I'll share the steps on how to properly record the payment to the vendor and credit bill so the transactions are not duplicated. Here's how:

1. Click the + New button and select Expense. 
2. Select the credit card account in the Payment account section.
3. Enter all the details of the expense transaction and click Save.

Once done, follow these steps on how to pay the credit card or statement:

1. Go back to the + New button and choose Pay down credit card.
2. Select the credit card account in the Which credit card did you pay section. Then, select the vendor or bank that issued the card in the Payee field. 
3. Enter the amount and date of the payment.
4. Click the drop-down in the What did you use to make this payment area and select the type of payment used.
5. Choose Save and close.
