Yes, you can. I'm happy to show you how it's done.
You'll want to open the payment transaction then delete it. Here's how:
- Go to Sales, then click the Customers tab.
- Open the customer profile where the invoice and the payment was recorded under.
- Find and open the payment transaction.
- Click the More button , then choose Delete.
After deleting it, you can reprocess another payment transaction with the correct details and amount.
Although, you can also edit the payment transaction instead of deleting it. Just change the amount under Amount received, then add or edit any other information. Once done, click Save and close.
