Join nowcan you create a report of inventory on hand by location ?
A pleasant morning, peter46.
While we're unable to create a report that will show inventory on hand by location, there are several statements you can see your sales and inventory status.
QuickBooks Online allows you to check what's in stock using these reports:
Check out the Use reports to see your sales and inventory status page to learn how to see items you buy and sell including what's on hand.
You can also pull up the Product/Service List report to see your items with the sales price, name, description, and quantity on hand.
Here's how to open a report you want:

No, because there is no multiple location tracking in QBO
Location is a reporting tag only, reporting on transactions
Glad I found this note :) .... You state:

I looked at the Physical Inventory Worksheet report..
But it looks like you cannot create a report that excludes certain locations -- so for example, if you have a location called "Bad Stock" -- itis going to include that "location" in the report.
Is that the case? Do you have any suggested work-arounds if you want to exclude certain inventory?
Basically we just want a SKU/QOH report -- nothing fancy. We do have QBES with Adv Inventory.
Thank you.
Thanks for chiming in this thread, John_K.

Here's how:

Hi I'm looking for the same solution. I have a client using QBO who is opening a 2nd location and needs to track inventory by location. Has anyone found a solution? We can adjust inventory and assign it by locaiton so why can we not run reports?
TIA for your help!
Nancy
Hello there, Nancy.
Currently, the option to run inventory reports by location is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. Please take note that the Location Tracking feature is only intended for your sales and expense transactions. Thus, we're unable to assign a specific location to your inventory items.
For now, you'll want to consider pulling up these three reports to easily track the quantity on hand, value, and average cost for each product:
