Cash receipts are posting the wrong GL acct. I am entering receipts to undeposted funds and when I run a statement of activity the receipts are in the wrong revenue acct

Let's make sure that we've selected the correct income account associated with the product, omycodad.

It's possible that we've selected a different account. That's why the statement of activity displays a different revenue account. Let me show you how:

1. From the Sales tab, select Products and Services.
2. Locate the item and click the Edit hyperlink.
3. Modify the Income account.
4. Click Save and close.

Afterward, let's run the Statement of Activity report to check and see if it's now posting in the correct revenue account. 

You can also add some information in the report by clicking the Customize button. If you want to save the setting of the report, you can memorize it.
