I appreciate you for taking the time posting your experience here in the Community, @craig25.

I've checked our investigation list, but we haven't received reports similar to this from other users.

When a user encounters unexpected behavior in QuickBooks Online (QBO), it's generally recommended to try general browser troubleshooting.

It's possible that you might experiencing some browser hiccups. Once you visit a website, the cache will store the information which can take up space on the computer's memory. If it's overloaded, it can cause unexpected results.

In cases like that, you'll want to perform some basic troubleshooting. Start with logging into your account through a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If it works fine with a private browser, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. The article below can keep you going: How do I clear my browser cache and temporary Internet files?

For future reference, you may want to check these articles to know more about processing payroll and customer's payment:
