Credit Card and ACH charges are hefty. Is there anyway to reduce this? We have two customers who will be paying roughly $3000-$4000 invoices each month.

I may have a workaround to minimize your financial cost.

1. Open a QBO Simple Start. You may get a discounted plan for up to 6 months. Consider to open another QBO account to repeat this process if necessary.

2. Send invoices for both customers from this 3rd party payment service and integrate with your QBO.  For all payments within the US, you pay just $1.

3. Should you need to import the transactions data to your QBD data file in bulk, utillize another 3rd party tool.

Use promo code 20PERCENTOFF at checkout, valid until April 30th, 2020.

Hope it helps.

Good morning, @derekddr,

Thanks for writing in!  I understand you need to do what's best for your business in terms of fees.  For QuickBooks Desktop, we currently have two pricing plans that we offer. This link will show you the breakdown:

Desktop Payment Plans

If you choose the monthly subscription rate of $20, your processing fees are less than the pay-as-you-go plan.

If you are not already on the monthly plan and would like to take advantage of the lower processing rates, I would suggest reaching out to the payments team to see if they can update your account.  Your contact options are listed here:

I hope that helps!
