Debit card purchases not showing up in register

Hey there, patsylgreen1.

 

Thanks for joining us here in the Community. It's my pleasure to help out so you're able to view debit card transactions in your register.

 

To begin, it's always a good idea to double check that these transactions have been initially added to the register. When your bank account is connected to QuickBooks, these items are first placed in the For Review section, where you can decide whether or not to add them. Here's how to check:

 

1. Click the Banking tab in the left navigation panel.

2. Make sure the correct account is highlighted blue at the top of the page.

3. Scroll through the items shown in the For Review tab and check for your purchases.

4. If you find them, check the box to the left.

5. When you're ready to add them to the register, click the Batch actions button.

6. Choose Accept selecting.

If you don't see the purchases in the For Review section, they may have not come over from the bank yet. You can ensure all of your credits and debits have synced with QuickBooks by completing a manual update. I'll show you how:

 

1. Choose the Banking tab on the left of your screen.

2. Verify the correct account is selected.

3. Click the gray Update button in the top right corner.

 

Once that's all done, check out the For Review tab one more time to look for the purchases. You can then complete the first set of steps to get the moved over to the register.
