Thanks for alerting me about this bank display error, @Bruizer2.

When you’re busy running a business, an unnecessary prompt is the last thing you should have to deal with. I’d like to this opportunity to get your sales forms working as it was before.

May I ask what specific sales form are you working with when you saw the odd name of the sales field?

In the meantime, let’s review how your sales form template designs. Here’s how:

  1. Click the Gear Icon.
  2. Choose Custom Form styles.
  3. Locate the specific template you’re using that has the weird field name.
  4. Click Edit.
    1. Go to the Content tab.
    2. Select the Pencil Icon in any area you saw the weird field name.
    3. Hit on Edit labels and widths.
    4. Review the labels of each sales form box.
    5. Click Done.

If you’re seeing the same name on the sales form field, let’s apply troubleshooting step to make sure this is not browser-related:

  • Access your QuickBooks Online account using an incognito or private browser.
    • Mozilla Firefox: press CTRL + Shift + P
    • Internet Explorer: press CTRL + Shift + P
    • Safari: press Command + Shift + N
    •  Google Chrome, press CTRL + Shift +
  • The stored data in your browser’s history can cause odd errors and may affect QuickBooks’ performance. If you’re able to log in and create an invoice without the weird name on the sales field, clearing the cache of your regular web browser will remove it.
  • You can use the Browser Health Checkup Tool to check any issues with your browser’s health and its compatibility with QuickBooks Online.

That should do it! Let me know how it works on your end. I’m always here to help if you have other questions about managing your customized sales forms.

I had this too. For some reason, my Chrome browser translated the page so "Sales" became "You go out" and "Invoices" became "Invoke". I suspect other browsers are doing something similar.

I have no idea why but when I went to the address bar, there's a Translate icon to the left of the Favorites icon (the star...). Click the Translate icon and then click "Show Original". That will set it back.
