Hi there, david-shultz.
I can help you sort your open invoices.
The option to sort the open invoices by due date is still present in QuickBooks Online. We can simply click the Arrow icon (beside the Due Date column) to sort the due dates in descending or ascending order. Let me guide you how:
Take a look at my screenshot below:
If you need to track all the invoices that are due on a particular day or date range, we can customize the Transaction Detail By Account report.
With QuickBooks Online, we can also personalize the invoices so your customers will recognize your brand: Customize Sales Forms.
Do you have any other questions in mind? Feel free to leave them below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Hey there david-shultz.
Thanks for dropping by the Community, I'm happy to help, below I'm attaching very helpful article that shows you how to Resolve AR and AP balances on the cash basis Balance sheet. This article will help you resolve a number of issues including how you sort the date of your transactions. I'm also including another helpful article that highlights the report customization process.
If you have any other questions, feel free to post here anytime. Thank you and have a nice afternoon.
Thanks, but that article actually didn't address my question at all. When I click on Invoices (AR) from the dashboard, it gives me a nice list of invoices. I can subsequently click in further to see my unpaid invoices. In the past, I could sort those by date to see what what would be coming in in next. Now, that feature is gone, and there appears to be no way to sort by date.
