Thanks for reaching out here for support, soflaz.

I'd like to provide you ideas on how QuickBooks works when uploading your transactions.

QuickBooks Online is unable to support uploaded files using a non-Unicode character. The system only supports Alphanumeric characters.

You'll want to set up Rules in QuickBooks wherein you'll have the option of not selecting the Description. Please check this out:

  1. Go to Banking and select Rules.
  2. Click New rule.
  3. Enter the required field.
  4. Make sure to deselect the Description under and include the following drop-down menu.
  5. Click Save.

To learn more information on setting up rules in QBO, please refer to this article: How to set up bank rules in QuickBooks Online.
