I already know the columns in the Enter Bills screen can't be moved, but somehow the 'class' column shifted on its own and now I can't move it back. It's only on the 'items' tab, not the 'expenses' tab. It doesn't happen on another company file, so this file is obviously bugged somewhere. I ran the verify data, rebuild data, and the file doctor. No issues were found. If anyone knows of a way to figure out where the bug is I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Hello there, and thank you for contacting us, cdibeneditto.
Great job for running the verify and rebuild data. It's the first step to take when unexpected behavior occurs on your company file.
Let's check what shifted the Class column when creating a bill. Since this behavior doesn't happen to the other file, you can update QuickBooks Desktop. It's important to perform this regularly to give you a better experience and fix issues.
Here's how to update:
If the same issue persists, you can use the QuickBooks File Doctor to restore its original settings. Feel free to read through this article for instructions and detailed steps: Fix company file and network issues with QuickBooks File Doctor.
If you're getting the same results after rebuilding the data or using the File Doctor, I recommend contacting our Support Team. They can help repair the file for you.
Let me know if there's anything else you need about the class column. I'll be around until you get this resolved.
I will try that over the weekend. I'll let you know.
Thanks for the quick response.
