Entered sales not showing?

Yesterday I entered roughly 50 or more sales into my Quickbooks and today when I opened Quickbooks it is not showing them at all, but the host computer that is also on the same account does still see them on her desktop. What do I need to do get my computer in sync?

Entered sales not showing?

Hello there, @kennedysgrading2.

I'd like to ensure that you'll be able to see those sales transactions that were entered on your QuickBooks Desktop.

To get this issue sorted out, I recommend verifying if you're accessing the correct company file. Being able to access a different file can be the reason behind this issue. I also suggest to make sure that the transactions were save in the proper location, since you access it from a server.

You can check out this link for more details in opening a company from a host computer: Open a company file located on a remote computer.

Once verified and the problem continues, I recommend verifying and rebuilding your data. This resolves data related issues and help fresh your company file.

To do that:

  1. Go to the File menu at the top.
  2. Hover over Utilities.
  3. Select on Rebuild Data.
  4. On the QuickBooks Information window, select OK. Follow the onscreen steps to save a backup.
  5. Let the tool repair your file. It may take some time.
  6. When the tool finishes, select OK.
  7. Click on the File menu.
  8. Tick on Utilities.
  9. Hit on Verify Data.
  10. Let the tool check your file for data issues.
