Currently, there are some feature that are only available when you access QBO through a desktop or a mobile browser (desktop mode) You can use this link for reference on what you can do or see on the mobile app: Compare mobile app features.
Meanwhile, you should be able to see customer invoices and other transactions in the app. We have a few troubleshooting steps that can help you view those transactions. You can follow the detailed steps in this link: Troubleshooting Quick-Start Guide for the QuickBooks Online app.

This has been this way since I have been using it. 4 years? Totally unacceptable, especially what QBO charges, and the generic "work around" answer is pathetic.
This is a major issue. Who wants to log in at their desk top or mobile browser in desktop mode to see customer data information?
I need to see past invoice and sakes receipts for reference. What a P.I.T.A to have to log in mobile browser and having to resize page (another issue because it's in desktop view and very small font)
Someone should escalate this and fix. Period.
