Good to see you here, financeusa.
For QuickBooks Online, you can enter the serial numbers into the inventory item name, sales description, or SKU. Let me show you how:
If you use the SKU field, you can add a column that shows this information when you enter a sales transaction and customize sales detailed reports. Here's how:
You can use this reference that will help you track your inventory items within QuickBooks Online.
In addition, our QuickBooks Desktop version has the Advanced Inventory feature which can track store inventory at different warehouses, in multiple trucks, in different areas within a warehouse, at consignment locations, or at outside manufacturers.
I'm just around the corner to help you if you need anything else. You take care always and stay safe!

So no , I'm ok for now whit your answer.
But I have another one:
We have company in Canada and in USA as well (the owners are the same) but different CEO and different business.
We plane to buy the Desktop version and as far as I know the account able to use for 2 different companies. Is this correct ? Can I use the same account for two different company for two different settings and two different user set up ?
Thank you.
Hello,

Hi can you answer to this question as well?

You may have 3 options:
1. Purchase a single license of QBD US version for your 2 offices
2. Purchase a single license of QBD CA version for your 2 offices
3. But I would recommend, using QBD US version for US office and QBD CA version for CA office. You may purchase both licenses with a one time license.
I hope you're doing fine today, @financeusa.
