Hi @angelica1,

 

Let me share with you how credit card processing fee is applied to a customer invoice.

 

First you need create an item. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Under List, select Product and Services.
  3. On the upper right side, click New.
  4. Choose Service under Product/Service information.
  5. Fill in the information, under Sales Information
  6. Under Income account box, select the account where you want to post the charges.
  7. Click Save and close.

To add the processing fee to your invoice, see the steps below:

  1. Go to Plus (+) sign.
  2. Under Customers, click Invoice.
  3. After putting all the information, click Add lines.
  4. Click the box under Product/Service.
  5. Click the drop-down arrow, and select the item.
  6. Enter the amount.
  7. Click Save and close.

I recommend you also check the state laws to be sure that this is legal in your states.
