I agree with what our AllStar provided. We can't totally delete a contractor, however, we can make them inactive so that anytime you want to reactivate them, you'll need not to re-enter their information.

I’m here to assist you with the error message when making a contractor inactive. Browsers have cache files that temporarily saves your browsing data. When it’s full, you could experience unusual behaviors when loading repetitive pages.
First, you’ll want to sign into QuickBooks in an incognito window. This stops the cache files from saving new data and makes your browser work fresh. As long as you can make the contractor inactive, you can go back to your regular browser and clear the Cache.
