How do I fix uploaded csv files that are posting expenses as received and credits as spent

Hi there, @vlcarr.

In addition to Fiat Lux - ASIA, you'll want to delete the downloaded bank transactions and download it again. Ensure that you use the correct columns when downloading the CSV file. 2.PNG

Then, to delete those downloaded transactions in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account:

  1. Go to the Banking menu and select the Banking tab.
  2. Locate and select the appropriate bank account.
  3. Go to the For Review tab
  4. Put a check-mark inside the box beside the DATE column. 3.PNG
  5. Click the Batch actions drop-down menu and select Excluded Selected.
  6. Go to the Excluded tab.
  7. Repeat step 4.
  8. Select Delete from the Batch actions drop-down menu.

In case you accidentally delete a bank transactions, it'll go to the Excluded tab for review before deleting it permanently.

Once done, download the transactions again. For additional reference, here's an article you can check: Import bank transactions using Excel CSV files.

Then, you can now match the downloaded bank transactions once done.
