QuickBooks Self-Employed was designed for self-employed people like freelancers, independent contractors, and service-based entrepreneurs. It allows you to keep track of personal and business expenses, plus it calculates your estimated quarterly taxes. 

 

As of now, the option to create an account in the Chart of Accounts is unavailable because QBSE is not a a double-entry bookkeeping program.

 

To track donations, you can consider subscribing to QuickBooks Online (QBO), which allows you to create an account for charitable donations. If in doubt in purchasing, you can also take advantage with the trial account QuickBooks provided. You can use this link to subscribe in QBO: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/pricing/.
