Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you'll be able to email edited invoices or estimates.
Before we start, did you receive an error message when trying to email the edited invoices or estimates? Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
To check if it's a data issue, let's try logging in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a private browser. There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing websites, like QBO, to act weirdly.
To use a private browser, here's how:
- Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Internet Explorer: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + N
- Safari: Command + Option + N
Once logged in, go back and try to email your edited invoices again to double-check. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: How to email or print an invoice.
If this works, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh.
If you get the same result while using a private browser, I'd suggest using a different one.
