Good afternoon @eckel! I'm happy to see you back in the Community. Great job finding and getting that billable option turned on. I believe the best course of action would be to unapprove from within QBO (since you've already exported). Here's how to accomplish this:
That will open up that range for edits. You'll then mark the time as Billable and then Approve the time again. Here's a full article explaining those steps: Approve or unapprove employee hours using QuickBooks Time in QuickBooks Online.
Let us know how those steps work out for you!
Once you sync time from the timesheet app into QBO (or QBDT) you will have timesheets to review. Edit time entries to be billable to your customer. Create customer invoice and select the billable time.
If you set up the hours as billable already in what used to be called TSheets, then you can jump straight to creating the customer invoice after syncing data
Good morning, @eckel! Thanks for coming to the Community with your question. I'm happy to expand on @john-pero and give you some resources. :)
John is spot on with the process. The first important thing is to make sure that the time tracked in QuickBooks Time is marked as billable and has a customer/service item chosen. A good place to check this is within your QuickBooks Menu in the upper right-hand corner of your QuickBooks Time account. Make sure those fields are checked so that they show up on the timesheet.
If this is all done in QuickBooks Time (TSheets) once it exports, the time will be available for your invoice. Here are the steps on exporting:

Thanks for the help. I have found the setting in the QBT sync to turn on the 'billable' setting. I thought I had already done that but maybe failed to follow through with a save command or something... Ah well.
Now I am stuck with a lot of time entrees that have been approved but aren't marked as billable and therefore don't show up in the invoicing. I can't seem to get them unapproved so that I can make the correction - either in QBT or QBO. I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for the instructions. Things were a little different than your most helpful instruction but I now know how to get it done. Of course the way to get it done is under +New... who wouldn't suspect that? :-)
Have a great day!
