I have transferred an amount from one bank account to another. I need to apply that amount to a customer. How do I do that?

To apply a payment to   a customer you first sell something and then receive a payment which is new money and reflects a deposit into a single bank account. You need to deposit new funds first.  Transfers between your bank accounts have no effect on or are not affected by customers
