I havent logged in to add my transactions from my bank account since Feb this year & Im wondering if theres a way of getting them w/o having to add them in one by one? Could I even possibly pay for the next step up, would that help?

In QuickBooks Self-Employed, when you connect your bank account to online banking, your recent transactions are automatically downloaded. This means that you don't have to manually enter the data.

If your account is already connected and you regularly do business with the same customers or vendors, and the transactions are usually the same, you can set up a bank rule. This automatically categorizes transactions with the same information, and you just need to review the work.

To create a bank rule, here are the steps:

1. Go to the Gear > Rules.
2. Click the Create Rule button located in the upper right corner. 
3. In the Description field, enter the customer or vendor you want to create the rule for. Select to check the Match exactly checkbox if you want QuickBooks to only use the rule when transactions match exactly.
4. From the Account drop-down menu, select the account you want transactions to go into.
5. Choose Business, Personal, or Split from the Type drop-down menu..
6. Click the Category link and choose a category.
7. Put a check mark on the Also apply to past transactions box if you want to apply the rule to transactions you've already categorized,
8. Hit Save.
