I keep getting the message “line order does not match” when I edit an invoice on the app. Can edit invoices just fine on my computer. What is wrong?

I keep getting the message “line order does not match” when I edit an invoice on the app. Can edit invoices just fine on my computer. What is wrong?

It could be that there's an issue with the app that's causing this behavior. This is the reason why you keep getting the error message. 

 

Let's run some basic troubleshooting steps so you can get back to your business. 

 

First, clear cache in your QuickBooks mobile app. This way, we can clear up its space and fix some minor issues within the app. Here's how:

 

  • In the QuickBooks Online app:
    • Android: From More Options ⋮, select Settings and click Refresh Data, then choose Yes.
  •  
    • iOS: From the Menu , click Help & Feedback, and select Refresh Data. Then, select Refresh.
  • In your device Settings:
    • Android: From your device's Settings, select Apps (varies by device) and choose QuickBooks app from the list. Then, select Storage and click clear data.
  •  
    • iOS: From your device's Settings, select Setting General iPhone Storage and choose an app that's taking up a lot of space. To free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app, click Offload App.

 

If you're still getting the error message, turn off and restart your device. You can also uninstall and reinstall the app.
