I also encourage checking our QuickBooks Support page for guidance. There, you can read some articles that you can use for reference in knowing your ways around QBO.
You’re always welcome to post a reply if you need further assistance in managing your invoices or QBO account. I’d be more than happy to help and guide you in the right direction. Have a wonderful day ahead and keep safe.
I'm a new user. I created an invoice for a client yesterday and saved it. I'm ready to send it, however, I am unable to located the saved invoice in QB. Where is it?
The saved invoice does not show up! I didn't hit the "save and send" button, however, I DID hit the "save" draft invoice I prepared. Cannot find it, nor the others I've "SAVED" before during the last weeks. HELP!
Thank you for coming back to the Community and for updating us. One feature of QuickBooks Online is the Audit Log. It takes note of every action done within the account. Those invoices you created should be marked there and you can see what happened to them.
Let me walk you through accessing that tool.
While logged in as Master Admin in QuickBooks Online, click on the Gear Icon.
Underneath Tools, click on Audit Log.
Use the Filter to choose dates you want to look at or types of transactions.
Take a look there and hopefully, you can find those invoices. Another place to check would be the Open Invoices Report.
On the left menu, click on Reports.
In the search box type in "Open Invoices" or scroll down and find it under "Who owes you".
Customize the dates up top to the range you need and choose "Run report".
Once you find those invoices, to receive payments you can refer to the link shared above by @JasroV.
Please feel free to reach back out to me in the Community and update us.
