I meant to get Quickbooks Desktop instead of Quickbooks Online. How can I correct this without having to re-enter all my information?

Hi there, @info817.

You'll want to cancel your QuickBooks Online account. This way you can subscribe to QuickBooks Desktop.

Here's how:

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Account and Settings and click Billing & Subscription.
  3. In the QuickBooks section, select Cancel (paid subscription) or Cancel Trial (if you’re using a trial).
  4. Click Continue to Cancel, then Continue to Cancel again.
  5. Answer the short survey, then Click Confirm Cancel.

Once you're done, we'll send the account administrator an email that confirms we canceled your subscription.

For more details about canceling your subscription, you can check out this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.

However, you'll have to re-enter your information once again since QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop is different software. You can visit our website to see what product is best for your business.

Also, you can visit our Help articles page for reference in case you want to learn some tips and tricks on managing QBDT account.

Keep me posted if you need further assistant. I'll be right here to help. Take care.
