I pay a lot of bills by phone - how do I show it paid without having to print a check?

No matter the method it still is deducted from banking.

If you entered them as Bills to be paid, Pay Bills, Assign check number and leave the number blank or enter "phone" An ACH, check by phone, paper check are all the same. 

If you paid without entering a bill, just record the check - or Expense. You cannot print a copy of an Expense so keep that in mind

Yes, that's correct @john-pero. You can easily record an Expense through the mobile app by doing the steps listed below. Note: Make sure the app is up to date before doing the steps below. 

1. Open the QuickBooks app. 
2. From the home screen, select the Plus icon that's in a green circle. 
3. Pick Expenses. 
4. Type in how much you're paying and choose Check above the date of the transactions. 
5. Fill out the required information to save the transaction. 
6. Once finished, click Save in the top right-hand corner.
