Hello albre2252@gmail.!
Let me join this post and share some info about getting paid.
As mentioned by my colleagues, it depends on your deposit speed as to when you'll receive the funds. Intuit protects both parties involved in the payment process that's why you'll encounter similar behavior.
Now, what I can suggest is to check if the funds have been deposited into your bank. If you received the money already but still the status says Paid (In review), it's best to reach out to our Support Team so they can further investigate it.
You'll want to login into your Merchant account and review your payment transactions from there:
If your QuickBooks Cash is activated, please check this link on how to get your money: Learn more about QuickBooks Cash accounts and the Cash Flow menu.
Do you need references on how QuickBooks Payments works? You can check this link: QuickBooks Payments FAQ.
I'll be here if you have other questions. Take care always!

Let me share information with you about the invoice payments.
The payments in review status happen when your QuickBooks Payments account is new when your recipient made a payment. Usually, we deposit your funds within five (5) business days while your merchant account is still setting up. To learn more about this process, check out this article: Find Out When QuickBooks Payments Deposits Your Money.
As for the payment, it will clear on its own after it gets deposited to your bank.
I'm also adding this resource to know more about recording invoice payments: Take and process payments in QuickBooks Online.
If you have additional assistance while managing your transactions, let me know. I'll be around to provide further assistance. Have a nice day.
Ok thanks. I have processed payments before without issue so that’s what made me want to ask. So just to confirm it will clear on its own within some days?
Hi there, albre2252@gmail.
I appreciate you for coming back to the thread to add some clarification about yout concern. With this, I'll ensure to provide further details about the funding time for QuickBooks Payments.
The customer payment usually reaches your deposit bank account within 2-3 business days of the transaction. It varies on the time you enter transactions, the bank you choose for payments to be deposited. It can also vary on how long it takes the bank to verify and process electronic deposits.
When customers pay online via credit card, the estimated time for payments to deposit is 5-7 banking days. While ACH payments will take a bit longer during your first month. You'll get your payments within 5 days for the first 1 to 4 weeks.
For additional information, you can click this article: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.
On the other hand, yes, it will clear on its own after it gets deposited to your bank in some days.
If the payment is still not deposited within the given length of time, I'd suggest contacting our Merchants Services Support Team. This team is the best resource for such inquiries, as they're able to request account information. They can also verify the status of the payment too and investigate why it wasn't deposited into your account yet.
Please also refer to this article to see how QuickBooks Payments deposits work in QuickBooks Online: Common questions about payments deposits in QuickBooks Online.
Don't hesitate to post again here in QuickBooks Community if you have additional questions. I'll be right here to help. Have a great day!
Ok great. So sometimes payments randomly will be listed as “in review” or deposit delayed (which is what I’m seeing) in your system and its something that commonly happens that doesn’t require action on the merchants end?
