I used QBO to file our 1099s. We received notice that the IRS accepted it, but the contractors have not received the mailed copies (or email invite to portal).

I want to make sure you're able to check the 1099 status in QuickBooks Online as soon as possible. 

Yes, there's a way to check the statuses of your 1099 by logging into your 1099 E-File account. Please go to the home page, then click the View status link at the bottom part.

See the sample screenshot below for your reference: 

• Not Submitted: you didn't e-file any form
• Submitted: You have e-filed the form to the IRS.
• Received by IRS: The IRS already received the form and is either processing it or has processed and approved it. 

Since you already received a notice from the IRS that the form is accepted, I'd suggest checking if there's a tracking number in the email. If there is, you can now email or send the tracking number to your contractors. 

If there's no number, I'd recommend communicating with our Customer Care Team. They have other tools to double-check the status and get the tracking number. 

1. Go to the Help menu, then choose Contact Us. 
2. Type your concern in the box, then hit Let's talk. 
3. Choose either Get a callback or start a chat. 
4. Complete the required information and submit the request. 

Ensure to call them within business hours to cater to your concern quickly.
