If a client pays by personal check and I click the "paid" option in the invoices, will QB send the client an invoice stating that it was paid?

If you mark an invoice as paid in QuickBooks Self-Employed, it doesn't send a receipt automatically. However, once you click Mark as paid, you'll have an option to select Send receipt on the dropdown. Another window will open, just click on Send.
