Import invoices to QB

I can share a few insights about importing invoices in QuickBooks Online.

At the moment, the system cannot recognize foreign characters on the CSV template. Whether these are customer names or memo, it will be converted to special characters when imported.

As a workaround, you can convert them using any Alphabet letters, to accurately upload the data. Another option is creating the transaction inside QuickBooks by clicking on the + New button on the toolbar and adding the foreign characters manually.

Regarding your second question, if you're processing different currencies, you can turn on the Multicurrency feature. It helps properly track transactions using foreign currencies, as well as exchange rate gains and losses.

Here's how to turn it on:

1. Go to the Settings ⚙️ icon, and select Account and Settings.
2. Pick the Advanced tab, then click to expand the the Currency section.
3. Choose a Home Currency, then mark the Multicurrency checkbox.
4. Next, confirm that you understand that this option cannot be undone.
5. Hit Save and close.

If you wish to add currencies, follow the steps below:

1. From the Settings ⚙️ icon, go to Currencies.
2. Press Add currency and select your preference from the Add Currency ▼ drop-down menu.
3. Lastly, click Add.

Why don't you create a QBO account for your BU in each country? You may consolidate them later using a 3rd party app.
