Happy to help, @accounting307.

You can remove the date column from printed invoices by editing your Custom Form Style. Here's how:

  1. Go to Gear, then Custom Form Styles.
  2. Find the invoice template that you use when printing, then click Edit.
  3. Head over to the Content tab, then on the right side choose the line item section.
  4. You'll now see a Columns section to the left with some checkboxes. Un-check the Date option.
  5. Hit Done.

That's it! For more information on editing Custom Form Styles, you can check out: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online

HI Micael K,

This option removes the date from the invoice.  I do want the date.  I just am trying to get rid of it being listed twice.  Once in the Date Column and a second time in description.  I only see this date in the description when I print it off :(

Thanks for reaching back out, @accounting307.

By default, the date won't display on line item descriptions. If you're seeing it in the description, that means that it's been entered by a user when the invoice was created. You'll need to edit the line item descriptions on the invoice individually and remove the date from them.
