Join nowWe have two quickbooks online files with a do to loan account in one and do from loan account in the other. The journal entry to record these transactions is substantial. We would like to enter it on one side and then be able to export it and import it to the other file. Is there a way to do that or a good third party ap that does this?
I'm here to help manage your journal entry in QuickBooks Online (QBO), sjstock.
QBO lets you export reports to Excel. However, being able to import journal entries isn't an option. You need to manually enter it into your accounts.
After you record the journal entry, you can run the Journal report. Then, filter it to see all journal entries.

I've added this link to know what entries you can import: Move your lists to QuickBooks Online.
For more details about getting the data on your financial statement, check out this article: Customize reports in QuickBooks Online.
Let me know if you need additional information about handling journal entries in QuickBooks. I'll be right here to help you.
I was already aware of the ability to export the entries. I was asking about importing to another QB file, but as that is not an option I will have to pay for a 3rd party ap that has that feature.
