Making a sub customer into a regular customer

Let me help share how you can convert a sub customer back to a regular one in QuickBooks.

Normally, the transactions created under a sub customer make up the total balance of the parent. Even if the sub customer doesn't have any open invoices, you're still unable to check it back to a regular one especially if it is billed with the parent and a pending balance.

With this, let's consider reviewing all the transactions only under the parent customer to make sure it has no open invoices or unapplied payment to get rid of the error message.

I have nothing but disgust for a system that once worked and was changed with no proper explanation why or effort for those that changed it to resolve the problem .....

WHY is it that once you could easily change a sub customer to a regular customer and now you can't ?????
