Yes, you can make the job inactive once you no longer need it. This way, the name will never show up when recording transactions. I can guide you on how.
- Open your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT), then go to the Customers menu.
- Tap on Customer Center.
- Locate the job name you want to block under the Customer & Jobs section.
- Right-click, then select Make Customer:Job Inactive.
- Hit Yes to confirm the action.
Once done, the name will now be excluded as a suggested result when creating transactions.
