Let's perform some troubleshooting steps so you can enter a scheduled payment successfully.
To check if it's a browser data issue, let's try logging in to logging to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account using a private browser. There are times that the browser stores frequently-accessed data, thus causing websites, like QBO, to act weirdly.
To use a private browser, here's how:
Once logged in, go back and try to enter a scheduled payment again to double-check. For more guidance, feel free to check out this article: Understanding payment schedules.
If this works, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh.
If you get the same result while using a private browser, I'd suggest using a different one.

As additional option, explore this 3rd party app - Melio. You may:
* Pay a vendor invoice with a bank transfer or ACH transfer for FREE.
* Stretch your cash flow by creating up to a 45-day float by paying bills via a credit card, even if the vendor doesn’t accept credit cards.
* Vendors get paid with a physical check or with electronic bank transfers. You choose how you pay.
* Schedule payments to be paid in the future to take advantage of vendors’ terms.
* 2-way sync with QuickBooks Online (data flows both ways).
